Race 6 - # 7 Easy Red
Public seem to be leaning to the #5 and its in with a chance, but its to small of a price now for me to take. The #8 looks the one to be on with the form, but its a worry that nobody wants it at 7/4 the price is bigger then the #5. So I taken a chance with the #7 Easy Red at 6/1. She has won 4 times from 5f to 6f. Beaten 1 3/4l by Jersey Pearl when 2nd of 10 at 18-5fav LTO at Churchill Downs over 6f last month. She will need to improve for that run, but so have the rest of them. Luis Saez keeps the ride on her as well.
Race 7 - #9 Write Off Jerry
I was up and down in this race and the dart came down on the #9 Write Off Jerry. He was fav LTO when he ran a blank and I have to forgive him that run as he was running well before that. If he puts that run behind him and runs to his form before that, he would be right up there with the main chances in this race and could be overlooked because of it. A lot of if's though.
Race 8 - #9 Gin's Beach Road
Word is going around with this horse, A winner at 9/4 at Churchill Downs over 6f (good) LTO, beating Madison's Charm by 5l. Is a Strong contender on recent form for a race like this, and the rumours are that progress is still on the up. I see it going off as the Fav is the downside.
Race 9 - #9 Fionn
This looks a great race and a bit of bias for a horse I love Fionn. Winner of 6 races from 1m to 1m 2f on good ground. A winner at 5/2 at Kentucky Downs over 1m 2f (good) LTO, beating Candy Quest by 1/2l. Strong contender and could add this to her CV with another good run.
Race 10 - #9 Countthebrave
Amother race that I could go deep in, there will be scratches no doubt. Won twice at 6f. A winner at 9-4 at Churchill Downs over 6f LTO, beating Risk It by 2 3/4l. Stands a good chance here if he repeats that performance. David Jacobson has 2 in the race and will probable take one out, so if the #9 is scratched, I will look at the #6.
